Stake Darts: Target, Difficulty and Multipliers

A guide to Stake Darts: the virtual target, Easy to Expert difficulty levels, multiplier ranges, Manual and Auto modes, and provably fair.

Published by The Gambling Desk ·

Stake Darts turns a dart throw into an instant result. You set the bet and difficulty, then Bet launches a dart at a virtual target. The colour it hits determines the multiplier applied to the bet.

The player does not aim at a specific area. The target animates the result generated by the game.

How a Round Works

  1. Set the amount in Bet Amount.
  2. Choose the difficulty.
  3. Check the multiplier key.
  4. Press Bet.
  5. The dart lands in an area and the corresponding payout is calculated.

Values below 1.00x return only part of the bet. With a bet of 1, 0.40x returns 0.40 and produces a net loss of 0.60.

Understanding the Darts Interface

The Manual and Auto tabs appear at the top of the left-hand panel. The ½ and 2x shortcuts halve or double the bet. The Difficulty menu selects the target profile.

The target occupies the centre. Its coloured ring corresponds to the values shown in the key below. The screenshot shows Medium with 0.4x, 0.6x, 1.3x, 3.1x, 6x and 16x. The vertical history on the right keeps the latest results, including 3.1x and several 0.4x results.

Difficulty Levels and Multiplier Ranges

The DOCX describes four profiles:

  • Easy: from 0.5x to 8.5x;
  • Medium: from 0.4x to 16x;
  • Hard: from 0.2x to 63x;
  • Expert: from 0.1x to 500x.

A higher difficulty widens the range and concentrates risk on more extreme values. The maximum increases, but low returns also become more severe. Changing level does not make the next colour predictable.

These ranges come from the DOCX, while Medium is confirmed by the screenshot. RTP and house-edge figures from the legacy document are not presented as current characteristics because there is no independent canonical source for them.

Manual and Auto Modes

Manual launches one round at a time. Auto repeats the selected configuration and therefore accelerates the total amount wagered. It changes neither the target nor the distribution.

The DOCX also mentions asynchronous betting, which allows several throws to run in parallel. This feature increases the number of results processed simultaneously; it creates no advantage.

History and Limits

The history lets you review previous multipliers. A run of 0.4x results does not make a high value more likely on the next throw.

A fixed bet, a defined number of rounds and a loss limit make play easier to track. Increasing the bet after a loss only raises the exposure on the next throw.

Darts and Provably Fair

The Fairness button opens the provably fair mechanism. Seeds and the nonce allow the result to be verified afterwards without revealing the next area.

Our guide to Stake provably fair explains this check. Wheel uses a different visual distribution of multipliers, while Cases reveals a value on a reel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can You Aim at a Specific Colour?

No. The player chooses the bet and difficulty; the game determines which area is hit.

What Does 0.4x Mean?

It is a partial return of 40% of the bet, resulting in a net loss of 60%.

Does Expert Offer Better Chances?

No. Expert increases the multiplier range and volatility, not the predictability of the result.
