SponsorshipStake Sponsorships: Ten Partnerships in Sport and Esports
Clubs, organisations, a franchise, circuit and events: compare ten documented Stake sponsorships across sport and esports.
A sponsorship can place a brand on a shirt, associate it with an event or give it a commercial role in a circuit. It does not always mean the same thing. This guide brings together the ten English-language analyses published by The Gambling Desk and distinguishes the clubs, organisations, competitions and franchises involved.

Agreements with football clubs notably cover shirts and activations around the teams. In esports, Stake may support an existing organisation, such as Team Vitality or Astralis, but may also give its name to a circuit co-produced with a specialist organiser, as with Stake Ranked.
Cricket adds the case of a franchise competing in a regional tournament. The UFC involves an agreement with an organisation that produces MMA events. Finally, the X Games associate Stake with a multisport brand and, more specifically in 2026, with its new team league. None of these agreements means that Stake owns the entities presented or runs their sporting activity.
Announcement, Activation and Current Status Are Three Different Markers
An announcement establishes the starting point and the scope communicated. An activation shows how the agreement actually took shape: presence on a shirt, inside a venue, around a tournament or in content. A renewal may then change its duration, territory or commercial rights.
The ten profiles are therefore not presented as uniformly active. Some agreements have a published duration or a recent activation; others remain displayed by the brand without all their current rights being public. Each analysis dates evolving facts and distinguishes what is confirmed from what cannot automatically be extended.
Sponsoring an Entity Is Not the Same as Signing an Ambassador
A sponsorship connects Stake with a structure or event. An ambassador is an individual engaged in campaigns or content. The two relationships may overlap—around UFC fighters or skateboarders connected with the X Games—without becoming interchangeable.
The Stake ambassador guide presents these individual collaborations. To place sponsorships within the brand's wider services and activities, also read the general overview of Stake.
FAQ
What Types of Entities Appear in This Guide?
It brings together four football clubs, two esports organisations, one esports circuit, a cricket franchise, an MMA organisation and an action-sports event brand.
Are All the Partnerships Presented Still Active?
Not necessarily with the same level of certainty. The individual pages specify the announcement date, documented activations and the status that could be verified on 25 July 2026.
Does Stake Own the Clubs, Organisations or Competitions Presented?
No. A commercial agreement does not in itself establish ownership or responsibility for sporting operations.
Does a Sponsorship Give Stake Broadcasting Rights?
No, unless such a right has been expressly announced. Brand presence or a betting partnership is not enough to make Stake the broadcaster of a competition.
Is Stake Ranked an Esports Team?
No. Stake Ranked is a Counter-Strike 2 tournament circuit launched with StarLadder, unlike Team Vitality and Astralis, which are esports organisations.
These ten pages provide an overview of the English-language scope currently published, not an exhaustive list of Stake's past or present commercial relationships.
