Team Vitality is a French esports organisation recognised on the international stage. On 25 July 2025, it announced a multi-year agreement with Stake, which became the official international partner of its Counter-Strike 2 roster.
Team Vitality at the Top of Counter-Strike
Recognisable by its yellow-and-black identity and bee emblem, Team Vitality fields teams in several disciplines, including Counter-Strike 2, Rocket League, Valorant and League of Legends. Its CS2 roster occupies a central place in the club's international development.
The agreement with Stake came during a particularly strong period. In 2025, Vitality had won the ESL Grand Slam and the BLAST.tv Austin Major, after a run of victories including the ESL Pro League, IEM Katowice and IEM Melbourne. The club therefore entered the partnership as the global benchmark in CS2.
A Multi-Year Agreement Announced at IEM Cologne
Team Vitality and Stake unveiled their partnership on 25 July 2025, at the opening of IEM Cologne. The agreement specifically covers the Counter-Strike 2 team: Stake becomes its official international partner in the betting sector.
The exact length was not made public, but the commitment was presented as multi-year and as a major seven-figure agreement. Its scope therefore does not indiscriminately cover every Team Vitality team: it is centred on the CS2 roster and its international competitions.

The Stake Logo on the CS2 Shirt
The first visible activation took place in Cologne, where Team Vitality unveiled a new shirt carrying the Stake brand. The logo appears on the front and on the left side of the official Counter-Strike 2 team shirt's collar.
This presence accompanies the roster at the leading international competitions. At the time of the announcement, the team comprised Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, Shahar “flameZ” Shushan, William “mezii” Merriman and Robin “ropz” Kool.
Exclusive Content and Access to Players
The partnership is not limited to the shirt. Team Vitality and Stake plan social-media campaigns, joint content productions and exclusive access to the players throughout the year.
The announced activations include content filmed with the roster during major tournaments, VIP experiences and fan reward initiatives. In May 2026, Stake also published an interview with Team Vitality devoted in particular to the CS2 academy project, extending the collaboration beyond competition days.
What Both Partners Are Seeking
For Team Vitality, the agreement directly supports its CS2 team and accompanies its ambition to become a global esports brand. Vas Roberts, the club's co-CEO, presented the collaboration as historic in its scale and symbolic value.
For Stake, Team Vitality represents a structured entry into esports around a roster already established at the highest level. IEM Cologne, the shirts, the club's digital platforms and content with the players provide several points of contact with Counter-Strike's international audience.
