Stake accepts several cryptocurrencies, but the ticker alone is not always enough. To deposit or withdraw without an error, you need to identify the asset and then choose the compatible network displayed in the Wallet.
Which cryptocurrencies can you use on Stake?
Stake's official documentation confirms the twenty-one assets presented below as of 25 July 2026. This list and the available networks may change: the deposit or withdrawal screen in your account takes precedence.
Native assets
They are used directly to operate their main network.
Bitcoin
The original cryptocurrency, widely available on exchanges.

Ethereum’s native asset, also accepted by Stake through BNB Smart Chain.

Dai
A stablecoin designed to maintain a value close to the dollar.

They use an existing network, so the network name is essential.

Cronos
An asset from the Cronos ecosystem that Stake accepts in ERC-20 form.

ApeCoin
A token from the ApeCoin ecosystem accepted by Stake on Ethereum.

Cryptocurrency and network: what is the difference?
The cryptocurrency is the asset being sent: BTC, USDC or TRX, for example. The network is the technical route used to deliver it.
Some cryptocurrencies have their own network. BTC uses Bitcoin and SOL uses Solana. Others exist on several networks: Stake notably accepts USDC through Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon or Solana.
The principle is simple: the sending service and Stake must display the same asset and the same network.
The main cryptocurrencies available on Stake
Native assets are generally the easiest to recognise: Bitcoin on Bitcoin, Litecoin on Litecoin or TRX on TRON. That does not mean they are always the cheapest or fastest.
Tokens require more attention. LINK, UNI or SHIB may be offered on several networks. CRO is a useful example: Stake documents it on Ethereum as ERC-20 and states that the Cronos network is not supported.
Polygon appears under the ticker POL in the current network help page. Older documents, including the project's source document, still use MATIC.
Stablecoins
USDT, USDC and DAI are stablecoins: they are designed to track a reference currency, in this case the US dollar. They can limit exposure to price movements between two transfers, without providing a guarantee of value or constituting financial advice.
Their main pitfall is the choice of network. USDT and USDC exist on several networks accepted by Stake. Copying the ticker without reading the network is therefore not enough.
Which cryptocurrencies are suitable for a straightforward transfer?
For a first transfer from Kraken, four officially compatible pairs are easy to identify:
- USDC on Solana;
- TRX on TRON (TRC-20);
- SOL on Solana;
- XRP on Ripple, with the destination tag displayed by Stake.
These are practical reference points, not a financial ranking. Fees, minimums and processing times remain variable depending on the service, the network and its activity.
Depositing or withdrawing cryptocurrency on Stake
For a deposit, open the Stake Wallet, choose the asset, select the network and copy the address. In the sending wallet or exchange, use exactly the same asset and network.
For a withdrawal, the principle is reversed: obtain the receiving address from the destination service, then select in Stake the network accepted by that destination.

Essential checks
- the same cryptocurrency on both screens;
- the same network on both screens;
- the address copied without alteration;
- the memo or tag added for EOS or XRP when Stake requests it;
- the minimum and fees checked again before confirmation;
- a small test transfer considered if the minimums and fees allow it.
An asset sent to the wrong address or over an unsupported network may not be credited. Recovery is never guaranteed.
FAQ
What is the difference between a cryptocurrency and its network?
The cryptocurrency is the asset transferred. The network is the route used to send it. A single asset, such as USDC, can circulate on several networks.
Which cryptocurrency is the easiest to deposit on Stake?
There is no universal answer. A cryptocurrency you already hold on an accepted network may be the simplest. For a transfer from Kraken, USDC on Solana, TRX on TRON, SOL on Solana and XRP on Ripple are verified compatible pairs.
Why do USDT and USDC display several networks?
These tokens are issued on several blockchains. Stake accepts several of them, but the sending exchange or wallet must support exactly the same network.
Is a memo or destination tag required?
Stake states that EOS and XRP require an address and a memo or tag. Copy this information whenever it appears in the Wallet.
Do stablecoins always have exactly the same value?
No. They seek to track a reference currency, but their price can deviate from it. They guarantee neither capital nor returns.
How long does a transfer take?
The time depends on the network, its activity, confirmations and the service used. No fixed processing time can be guaranteed.
