Stake Drill: Drills, Target and Win Chance

A guide to Stake Drill: choosing a drill, the target multiplier, win chance, payout, Manual and Auto modes, and provably fair.

Published by The Gambling Desk ·

Stake Drill is an instant game in which three drills each produce a multiplier. Before the round, you set a target and choose a drill. If its result reaches or exceeds the target, the bet is paid at the selected multiplier.

Choosing the symbol — diamond, circle or triangle — identifies the drill being played. It does not reveal its result in advance.

How a Round Works

  1. Set the Bet Amount.
  2. Enter the Target Multiplier.
  3. Check the corresponding Win Chance.
  4. Choose one of the three drills.
  5. Press Bet.
  6. All three results appear; only the selected drill determines the payout.

The screenshot shows a target of 2.00x and a displayed chance of 49%. The drills stop at 3.29x, 3.65x and 1.05x. The selected circle reaches 3.65x: it exceeds the target, and the interface pays 2.00 on a bet of 1.00.

Understanding the Drill Interface

Manual and Auto appear at the top of the left-hand panel. The bet shortcuts let you halve or double the amount. Target Multiplier sets the return from a win, while Win Chance shows the associated probability.

The three coloured buttons correspond to the drills displayed in the centre. Profit on Win shows the expected net profit if the target is reached. For a bet of 1.00 at 2.00x, the total return is 2.00 and the net profit is 1.00.

Target, Chance and Drill Result

Increasing the target reduces the displayed chance. A higher target promises a larger payout on a success but requires the selected drill to go further.

The results of unselected drills do not count towards the payout. In the screenshot, the diamond would have exceeded 2.00x and the triangle would have remained at 1.05x; only the circle counts because it was selected before Bet.

The DOCX mentions a maximum and legacy RTP. These figures are not presented as current data because no independent canonical source confirms them in the repository.

Manual and Auto Modes

Manual lets you check the target, chance and drill before every round. Auto repeats rounds with the selected settings. It does not change the probability associated with the target.

A high target combined with automatic betting can quickly produce a series of losses. Set a number of rounds and budget before activating it.

Limits and False Strategies

Choosing the drill that has just stopped low or high provides no information about its next result. The three shapes do not form an exploitable sequence.

Changing the bet after a loss does not change Win Chance. A fixed bet makes the cost of a sequence easier to understand.

Drill and Provably Fair

Fairness provides access to the round’s provably fair data. It allows the results generated for the drills to be checked afterwards. It does not reveal the next series.

See our guide to Stake provably fair. Slide also uses a target, while Limbo provides a comparison with another game based on a predefined multiplier.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Have to Reach the Target Exactly?

No. According to the DOCX, the selected drill must reach or exceed the target multiplier.

Are All Three Drills Paid?

No. The player chooses one drill before the round; only its result determines whether the bet wins.

Does a Higher Target Improve the Return?

It increases the payout from a success but reduces the displayed chance. It does not guarantee a better session result.
